Reconstitution - 3 mL BAC protocol
- Sanitize the vial stopper with a fresh alcohol swab; let air-dry.
- Draw 3 mL of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe with a new needle.
- Dispense the solvent slowly down the inside wall of the vial - never directly onto the lyophilized powder.
- Swirl gently until fully dissolved. Do not shake - agitation can denature peptides.
- Label with reconstitution date. Refrigerate at 2-8°C and use within 30 days.
Storage
- Lyophilized (unopened): −20°C, protected from light and moisture.
- Reconstituted: 2-8°C refrigeration, use within 30 days.
- Handling: Keep sterile; avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
